Sculpture

I enjoy carving designs in wood and wax, but also cast and sculpt.
      Inspired by Grinling Gibbons, I'm learning to carve lime wood and have some Baroque designs in mind - I'll add photos of my efforts once I've improved!
      My latest project is to make my own ecorche figure: an anatomical model showing the skeleton and muscles. I'm using my own measurements and text books to learn the anatomy, to make a 62cm scale model. I'm constructing the bones from Milliput individually, then I'll wire them together once the skeleton is complete. The muscles will follow in more Milliput and I'll paint the finished figure.
